Restaurants in Paris |
|
I spend a few days in Paris every year, come hell or
high water. These are a few restaurants that I try to visit as routinely
as possible. |
|
|
|
Le Vaudeville -
$$$$$ 29, rue Vivienne, Paris, tel: 01
40 20 04 62 - lively brasserie and painfully French. |
|
Le Vieux Bistro - $$$$$
14, cloitre Notre Dame, Paris,
01 43 54 18 95: Tourist trap by day, wonderful elegant restaurant by
night. Lovely service, great wine and even a little romantic - ahh,
Paris |
|
La Ferme St Simon - $$$$$
6 rue de Saint Simon, Paris,
01 45 48 35 74, sophisticated and somewhat up-scale in a nice
neighbourhood. Superb quality and innovative executions of classic
French cuisine. |
|
Le Trumilov - $$$$
Quai de L'hotel de ville - near the
Pont Marie - A locals spot, therefor lots of taxidermy on the walls.
Classic Parisian, including lots of (but not exclusively) organ meat.
Excellent value! |
